Without a Doubt

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28

There is no prerequisite to find Jesus. There is no deep cave or mountain top you have to arrive at to earn your place is His hand.

When life is heavy and hard, it is easy and sensible to turn away from God. How would God, who loves me so much, allow such suffering? If you are asking that question, know you are closer to Him than ever before. Jesus did not ask us to seek Him when all was right in the world. He asked us to come when all was wrong. He asked when He knew we were in most need of Him and when we were burdened the heaviest.

His love for us is unconditional and unreserved. When we are tired, let Him give us rest. He will not fix situations that produce hurt and pain, but He will walk along side us while we endure it. No matter the circumstances, and no matter our past actions, His hand will open when we are ready to hold it.
